The 20-Year Plan: Islam Targets America

 When we immigrated from Jerusalem, Jordan* in January, 1967, little did I imagine that Islam would become center-stage in world news. As my sincere interest in the growth of Islam in America intensified, I began to discuss, dialogue, and then debate Muslim leaders throughout the world from an Arab Christian’s view of Islam. So far, I have had the privilege of participating in over 20 debates and discussions on every continent plus T.V. and radio. “Islam Revealed” was released in 1988 and is now in its 8th printing.
The True Furqan is now in its third printing in the three years it has been published. It is the only book which challenges the Quran in substance, style, language and contents. “The True Furqan” can be located on http://www.answers-to-islam.net/ or http://www.islam-exposed.org/.

This is my analysis of the Islamic invasion of America, the agenda of Islamists and visible methods to take over America by the year 2020!

Will Americans continue to sleep through this invasion as they did when we were attacked on 9/11?

1. Terminate America’s freedom of speech by replacing it with hate crime bills state-wide and nation-wide.

2. Wage a war of words using black leaders like Louis Farrakhan, Rev. Jesse Jackson and other visible religious personalities to promote Islam as the original African-American’s religion while Christianity is for the whites! Strange enough, no one tells the African-Americans that it was the Arab Muslims who captured them and sold them as slaves, neither the fact that in Arabic the word for black and slave is the same, “Abed.”

3. Engage the American public in dialogues, discussions, debates in colleges, universities, public libraries, radio, TV, churches and mosques on the virtues of Islam. Proclaim how it is historically another religion like Judaism and Christianity with the same monotheistic faith.

4. Nominate Muslim sympathizers to political office for favorable legislation to Islam and support potential sympathizers by block voting.

5. Take control of as much of Hollywood, the press, TV, radio and the internet by buying the corporations or a controlling stock.

6. Yield to the fear of imminent shut-off of the lifeblood of America – the black gold. America’s economy depends on oil, (1000 products are derived from oil), so does its personal and industrial transportation and manufacturing -41% comes from the Middle East.

7. Yell, “foul, out-of-context, personal interpretation, hate crime, Zionist, un- American, inaccurate interpretation of the Quran” anytime Islam is criticized or the Quran is analyzed in the public arena.

8. Encourage Muslims to penetrate the White House, specifically with Islamists who can articulate a marvelous and peaceful picture of Islam. Acquire government positions, get membership in local school boards. Train Muslims as medical doctors to dominate the medical field, research and pharmaceutical companies. Take over the computer industry. Establish Middle Eastern restaurants throughout the U.S. to connect planners of Islamization in a discreet way. Ever notice how numerous Muslim doctors in America are, when their countries need them more desperately than America?

9. Accelerate Islamic demographic growth via:
a. Massive immigration (100,000 annually since 1961)
b. No birth control whatsoever – every baby of Muslim parents is automatically a Muslim and cannot choose another religion later.
c. Muslim men must marry American women and Islamize them (10,000 annually). Then divorce them and remarry every five years – since one cannot have the Muslim legal permission to marry four at one time. This is a legal solution in America.
d. Convert angry, alienated black inmates and turn them into militants (so far 2000 released inmates have joined Al Qaida world-wide). Only a few have been captured in Afghanistan and on American soil. So far – sleeping cells!

10. Reading, writing, arithmetic and research through the American educational system, mosques and student centers (now 1500) should be sprinkled with dislike of Jews, evangelical Christians and democracy. There are 300 exclusively Muslim schools with loyalty to the Quran, not the U.S. Constitution.

11. Provide very sizeable monetary Muslim grants to colleges and universities in America to establish “Centers for Islamic studies” with Muslim directors to promote Islam in higher education institutions.

12. Let the entire world know through propaganda, speeches, seminars, local and national media that terrorists have hijacked Islam, not the truth, which is Islam hijacked the terrorists. Furthermore in January of 2002, Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Washington mailed 4500 packets of the Quran, videos, promoting Islam to America’s high schools–free. They would never allow us to reciprocate.

13. Appeal to the historically compassionate and sensitive Americans for sympathy and tolerance towards the Muslims in America who are portrayed as mainly immigrants from oppressed countries.

14. Nullify America’s sense of security by manipulating the intelligence community with misinformation. Periodically terrorize Americans of impending attacks on bridges, tunnels, water supplies, airports, apartment buildings and malls. (We have experienced this too often since 9-11.)

15. Form riots and demonstrations in the prison system demanding Islamic Sharia as the way of life, not American’s justice system.

16. Open numerous charities throughout the U.S. but use the funds to support Islamic terrorism with American dollars.

17. Raise interest in Islam on America’s campuses by insisting that freshman take at least one course on Islam. Be sure that the writer is a bonafide American, Christian, scholarly and able to cover up the violence in the Quran and express the peaceful, spiritual and religious aspect only.

18. Unify the numerous Muslim lobbies in Washington, mosques, Islamic student centers, educational organizations, magazines and papers by internet and an annual convention to coordinate plans, propagate the faith and engender news in the media of their visibility.
19. Send intimidating messages and messengers to the outspoken individuals who are critical of Islam and seek to eliminate them by hook or crook.

20. Applaud Muslims as loyal citizens of the US by spotlighting their voting record as the highest percentage of all minority and ethic groups in America.

* Jerusalem was held by Jordan from 1948 when it attacked Israel until 1967, when it again attacked Israel.

Muslim Prayer Rally Far Below Expectations

Abdellah runs Dar-ul-Islam mosque in Elizabeth, N.J., and is a controversial figure. As an attorney, he’s represented Islamic terrorists in federal court. He called on Muslims at the prayer rally to spread their faith.
 
“I call on all Muslims in America to remind each and every one of us,” he urged the crowd. “That there is nothing to be worshipped except Allah.”
 
The diverse gathering included Muslims hailing from North America, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East. CBN News did not come across many native Arabic speakers. But there were several people present who converted to Islam from Christianity, including one New York City woman we spoke to who was raised Irish Catholic.
“I had read the autobigraphy of Malcolm X and I read about his journey to Mecca,” Malika Rashdan told us. “And when he talked about praying next to red skin, white skin, brown skin–and everybody was the same. And that’s what drew me to Islam.”
Rashdan argued that the concept of Islamic jihad–or holy war–has been taken out of context by critics of Islam.
 
My jihad is raising my children as Muslims in this country and keeping them away from drugs and alcohol and gang violence,” she said.
CBN News asked another Muslim convert from North Carolina whether his loyalty came first to Islam or to America.
 
“My loyalty first is to Islam,” answered Jibril Hough. “But with that said if I’m loyal to my religion, I’m going to be loyal to America. If I practice my religion like a good Muslims, I’m no threat to America–I’m going to make America better.”
 
One New Jersey man at the rally had a message for Americans.
“Our message is, Islam is on the rise in this country,” said Sham l’deen Mohammed.
Mohammed said he would like to see America become an Islamic country, but not through violence.
“We’re not one to turn the other cheek. put it that way,” he said. “But we’re not going to instigate, we’re not gonna initiate violence against nobody.”
There were some protestors outside the event and several Christians handing out Bibles and DVDs. Some of them were former Muslims who did not want to be interviewed on camera out of fears for their safety.

Al-Qaeda and Taliban Status Check: A Resurgent Threat?

October 1, 2009 On September 29, 2009, Richard Barrett, coordinator of the UN’s al-Qaeda and Taliban Sanctions Monitoring Team and member of the secretary-general’s Counterterrorism Implementation Task Force, addressed a special Policy Forum luncheon at The Washington Institute as part of an ongoing counterterrorism lecture series sponsored by the Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. Mr. Barrett advises the UN Security Council on threats posed by al-Qaeda and the Taliban, and monitors the implementation and effectiveness of the UN’s sanctions regime. The following is a rapporteur’s summary of his remarks.Al-Qaeda’s Status Today
Over the past few years, the pace of attacks perpetrated by the al-Qaeda network has slackened, due to internal challenges to al-Qaeda and improvements on the national security front. Most critically, intelligence collection — in particular the ability to penetrate terrorist networks and gather human intelligence — has steadily improved. Counterterrorism officials today have learned from past mistakes, have better intelligence, and have a clearer understanding of the threat. Today, fewer individuals engage in terrorism, and new recruits are often not as skilled or ideologically committed as before. For al-Qaeda, today’s key audience comprises young adults in their late teens and twenties for whom the September 11 attacks were less a personal experience than a learned historical moment. Meanwhile, al-Qaeda’s international image has deteriorated significantly. Groups that subscribe to al-Qaeda’s ideology are increasingly preoccupied with parochial concerns that are local, not global. Al-Qaeda’s emphasis of global issues is becoming dated, as local affairs begin to play a more substantial role. Public opinion, moreover, has turned against al-Qaeda for the most part. Surveys indicate that although anti-Americanism has not decreased dramatically in recent years, support for al-Qaeda and its tactics has dropped. This demonstrates that one does not need to be pro-American to be anti-al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda’s Challenges
Al-Qaeda’s most pressing concern today may be its credibility. To realize its primary goal — instilling terror and fear on a large scale — al-Qaeda must mount enough attacks to maintain its image as a legitimate, working organization. Thankfully, al-Qaeda has failed to meet the high standard that it set in September 2001. In addition, the network’s relevance has decreased considerably. The nature of Usama bin Laden’s appeal has not changed sufficiently to match the agendas of al-Qaeda’s new supporters and potential recruits. Moreover, al-Qaeda’s exploitation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as its casus belli has been only rhetorical: its action in Israel or the Palestinian territories is minimal, and Bin Laden’s emphasis on fighting Israel and the United States — miles away from Israel and Palestine — considerably undermines his group’s claim to relevance. Al-Qaeda’s justification for attacks has also weakened. Many people, even those in al-Qaeda’s leadership, have criticized group attacks that have killed Muslims. Additionally, the group’s ultimate goals are vague and unappealing — fragile at best. Al-Qaeda has no policy beyond that of restoring the caliphate. To forestall a further decline, al-Qaeda would need strategic, realizable, and appealing goals — none of which it possesses or seems liable to adopt. Since President Obama’s speech in Cairo, al-Qaeda has acknowledged the need for public diplomacy, but it has failed to connect with and inspire its audiences and usual followers. In the age of a “leaderless jihad,” people will certainly be available as potential recruits, but not as initiators. Leadership is important, and al-Qaeda’s leadership has proven to be out of touch with reality, causing a severe loss of credibility, relevance, and self-justification. Survey of al-Qaeda’s Global Presence
Despite these problems, al-Qaeda’s affiliates continue to operate in areas throughout the world, including Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East. Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) is the most active of al-Qaeda’s branches at the moment, but it has failed to achieve one of its key objectives: igniting support in Europe. Although money and equipment are sent from Europe to AQIM, the group has not yet been able to conduct attacks. Somalia, too, remains a local battle. It is still unknown whether people are moving from Somalia to Europe to mount attacks or merely to relocate. In nearly every sector of the Middle East, al-Qaeda has a presence. Due to its inability to garner as much direct support as it did in the past, al-Qaeda sees financial support as key to maintaining its status. Al-Qaeda believes, and rightly so, that donating money increases a person’s commitment to the group’s cause. Indeed, Kuwaiti officials recently stopped two cash couriers in the Gulf who intended to enter Iran and deliver the money to al-Qaeda. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent a clear message to both al-Qaeda and the Taliban, seeming to strike a balance. The UAE will tolerate the groups’ meetings and fundraising efforts, but if they carry out operations within the country’s borders, the government will certainly act. In Saudi Arabia, al-Qaeda has demonstrated its presence with the recent bomb attack on Prince Muhammad bin Nayef in August. Although the attack failed — killing only the attacker and leaving Prince Nayef slightly injured — it illustrated al-Qaeda’s capacity to acquire new strike capabilities with frightening potential consequences. It was also a propaganda victory, illustrating that al-Qaeda was willing to attack senior regime leaders in the Middle East — a first in a long time. Nonetheless, the al-Qaeda threat seems to be under control in Saudi Arabia; in an effort to fight terrorism, the kingdom has made many arrests and instituted a terrorist rehabilitation program. In contrast, Yemen is a country where the al-Qaeda threat is gaining ground. In fact, many al-Qaeda supporters have moved from Saudi Arabia to Yemen. As a whole, the country is unstable, plagued by the al-Houthi rebels in the north and the separatist movement in the south. Moreover, Yemen’s population is young, poor, unemployed, and armed. In a country of approximately twenty-two million people, a worsening economy and drop in oil production has spurred al-Qaeda’s determination. As for Iraq, al-Qaeda has lost all real political influence. Al-Qaeda affiliates tend to be local groups preoccupied with sectarian violence and the fight for local resources. In Iran, al-Qaeda and Jundallah, the Baluchi separatist movement, are working together, but this seems confined to a local level. Egypt will be a “powder keg” in the upcoming years, and its educated middle class has the potential to provide leadership to various terrorist movements. In Gaza, Hamas surely will continue its strong stand against al-Qaeda. Overall, the Middle East is a patchy picture of stability and instability, but the terrorist threat within the region is generally under control. Al-Qaeda’s Role in Afghanistan and Pakistan
How events play out in Afghanistan and Pakistan may determine al-Qaeda’s future. Although the Taliban and al-Qaeda maintain an alliance in Afghanistan, the Afghan Taliban desires a complete consolidation of power. If the Taliban were to successfully takeover Afghanistan, it would probably not allow al-Qaeda free reign over the country. The Taliban regard the September 11 attacks as a mistake that resulted in their loss of power — a mistake they will not be likely to repeat. Iran also takes an interesting view of al-Qaeda. The Taliban and al-Qaeda are threats to Iranian security, but Tehran is currently more concerned about drug trafficking and U.S. intentions near its borders. Today, Iran supports insurgent elements in Afghanistan — to keep the United States busy — but this is no indication that Iran wants the Taliban or al-Qaeda as neighbors in the future. It is important to note that the Afghan Taliban and the Pakistani Taliban differ in their attitudes. Both groups see international forces in Afghanistan as targets, but their loyalties differ. Historically, the Afghan Taliban has had a close relationship with the Pakistani government, and consequently has problems with the Pakistani Taliban’s opposition to the government. The Pakistani government looks to the Afghan Taliban for control of the Pakistani Taliban, further sustaining their relationship. This enmeshment continues to present serious security challenges to the region’s geopolitics and the international forces present in Afghanistan. Al-Qaeda is clearly a weakened organization. It has suffered a severe loss of legitimacy, relevance, operational capability, and credibility. With these losses, and its dependency on a failed leadership, al-Qaeda has been unable to attract the support it needs to sustain itself in the long term. At the same time, however, it is necessary to maintain a watchful eye on al-Qaeda’s propaganda coups. Recent developments concerning radicalization in the United States, al-Qaeda’s recent activity in Saudi Arabia, and the group’s continued ability to gain financial support indicate the risk of resurgence is still present. In thirty years the Muslim population of Great Britain rose from 82,000 to two million…. a 25-fold increase… nearly one-half million Muslims in London alone! This Islamic invasion is obviated by the sight of over one thousand mosques littering the British landscape. Even London itself has become a main launching pad for much of the pro-Islamic, pro-Arab and pro-Palestinian Internet propaganda! Over the past 20 years, say experts, Britain has become a headquarters for extremist Muslim clerics and a fertile recruitment ground for new followers. Counter-terrorism officials estimate that 10,000 to 15,000 Muslims living in Britain are supporters of Al Qaeda. Among that number, officials believe that as many as 600 men were trained in camps connected with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and elsewhere.In the last 30 years the Muslim population of Great Britain rose from 82,000 to two million.
Muslims in Britain have made it clear that they have no intention of assimilating. Seven percent of Muslims consider themselves British first, 81 percent consider themselves Muslim first. Dr. Zaki Badwari, former Director of the Islamic Cultural Centre of London wrote, “A proselytizing religion [like Islam] cannot stand still. Islam endeavors to expand in Britain. It aims at bringing its message to all corners of the earth. It hopes that one day the whole of humanity will be one Muslim community, the Umma.” Britain operates as a strategic base for some of the most radical Islamic groups which preach hatred, incite to violence and recruit volunteers for terrorist activities. Britain now has one of the highest concentrations of closed-circuit TV cameras in Europe… nearly 1.5 million in operation! In late May 2001 the Brits were treated to their very own Muslim-Pakistani rioting! There is something deservedly humorous that this should happen to the pro-Muslim Brits who waste no time dumping on Israel! God Save the Queen!A book by Melanie Phillips called “Londonistan“, she documents how the Brits have refused to accept that they are confronted by a murderous, expansionist Islamic ideology, or that their own capital city has been transformed into “Londonistan.” For Phillips, Britain is a nation in denial about Islam, about terrorism, about Israel, and above all about itself.

The White Rose: An Interview with Mrs. Susanne Zeller- Hirzel

Background

The White Rose was a civilian resistance organization that actively opposed Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany during WWII. It was composed of students from the University of Munich and their philosophy professor, Kurt Huber. The group became known for an anonymous leaflet campaign, lasting from June 1942 until February 1943, calling for active resistance to the Third Reich. Upwards of 9,000 copies of the White Rose leaflets were distributed across Germany leading to an investigation by the Gestapo. Six members of the group were arrested; endured show trials conducted by Nazi Judge Roland Freisler and were executed by decapitation in 1943. The story of the valiant White Rose resistance group has been the subject of a film  Sophie Scholl – Die letzten Tage (Sophie Scholl: The Final Days), Weisse Rose (White Rose) a chamber opera by Udo Zimmerman that debuted in Hamburg in 1986 to international acclaim and many books, most recently: Sophie Scholl and the White Rose  in 2006.

The first leaflet from the White Rose read:

Isn’t it true that every honest German is ashamed of his government these days? Who among us has any conception of the dimensions of shame that will befall us and our children when one day the veil has fallen from our eyes and the most horrible of crimes - crimes that infinitely outdistance every human measure - reach the light of day?

The second leaflet read:

Since the conquest of Poland three hundred thousand Jews have been murdered in this country in the most bestial way … The German people slumber on in their dull, stupid sleep and encourage these fascist criminals … Each man wants to be exonerated of a guilt of this kind, each one continues on his way with the most placid, the calmest conscience. But he cannot be exonerated; he is guilty, guilty, guilty! (see another here)

The sixth leaflet from the White Rose resistance group was about the disaster at Stalingrad. It was smuggled out of Nazi Germany to Scandinavia. Re-titled as “The Manifesto of the Students of Munich” thousands of copies were dropped over Germany from allied aircraft.

Mrs. Suzanne Zeller – Hirzel is one of only two survivors of the White Rose Society. She is a member of the Peoples Movement PAX EUROPA” (BPE)  that opposes the Islamization of Germany and Europe. Mrs. Zeller – Hirzel is the author of a memoir of her experiences during the Hitler era in Germany: Susanne Hirzel: [From Yes to No. A Schwabian Youth. 1933 to 1945] Vom Ja zum Nein. Eine schwäbische Jugend 1933 bis 1945. Silberburg-Verlag, 2000.

This interview was conducted by D.L. Adams, a co-founder of the group Stop Islamization of America (SIOA).

The following interview was translated from the German.

Adams: During the war, you and Sophie Scholl were members of the League of German Girls (BDM) prior to the formation of the White Rose; was there a particular event that caused you to turn away from Nazism and take an active position against it?

Zeller – Hirzel: I got to know Sophie Scholl when she was my group leader in the BDM. I admired her because of her eloquence and her behavior and she quickly became my very best friend. I often stayed at Sophie’s parents’ home and got to know her brother Hans and her sister Inge. The BDM was a scouting organization for girls. Political indoctrination was only one aspect among many others and I even became a troop leader(Scharführerin). Sophie’s father Robert Scholl was a determined Catholic pacifist and a sincere Christian. He told us about his experiences and that influenced my thinking. At that time, we jointly decided that we should do something against Hitler.

Adams: What component(s) of character did all the members of the White Rose group share in common?

Zeller – Hirzel: We all were oppositional patriots, but with a Christian understanding. Although the Scholls were Catholic and I was Protestant (my father was a Lutheran parish priest), we shared almost everything in common.

Adams: I understand that Sophie’s brother was an enlisted soldier in the Werhmacht. Was Hans involved in a silent movement within the Werhmacht against Hitlerism?  If such a movement existed can you tell us about it? In addition, was there a feeling among Germans against Hitlerism that you felt the White Rose could encourage?

Zeller – Hirzel: Yes, there were within the armed forces an anti-Nazi underground movement (Count Claus von Stauffenberg, etc.). Mainly officers were involved. My brother Hans was only an ordinary soldier. Soldiers were rarely drawn into their confidence by officers. So Hans had no contact with them.  There was no support among the population since the prevailing erroneous opinion was: “As long as our sons at the front are fighting for their country, resistance would be a betrayal.” Another fellow who was looking for contact with the White Rose sympathizers in Berlin, Falk Harnack, was also forced into the armed forces. He failed to make contact with the underground resistance. He was surprisingly acquitted on April 19, 1943 by Freisler’s People’s Court. Harnack benefitted from his profession; he was a theatrical arts director. During the trial Freisler’s assessment of me as a young naive girl enabled me to get off lightly, although I feared a death sentence from my prison cell.

Adams: It is known that Hitler had a deep fascination and affection for Islam. Hitler once said that he would have preferred if Germany had been an Islamic culture as he thought the German people would then have been more brutal fighters.  Hitler also understood that Jews were despised by Mohammed. The oppression and killing of Jews is a common thread between Nazism and Islamic doctrine. Were you aware of this linkage during the White Rose times? Were there Muslims in Munich? Did Professor Huber or any other White Rose members ever discuss the linkage between Islam and Nazism with the group?

Zeller – Hirzel: Islam and Muslims in general at that time were not an issue with us. I was not aware that there were any Muslims in Germany. Hitler’s collaboration with Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was not known even though Hitler invited him to reside in Berlin from 1941 to war’s end and the Grand Mufti recruited SS divisions of Bosnian Muslims. All this was unknown to us.

Adams: There is a documentary film about one of Hitler’s personal secretaries, Traudl Junge. The film is called “Blind Spot”. It is an excellent film and shows how an otherwise decent person can make excuses and be silent in the face of the cruelties and brutalities of dictators and totalitarian systems. Do you have any comment on ordinary Germans like Trudle Junge who went along with the Nazi Party and Hitler but may have felt that what they were supporting was wrong? We know that dictatorships and totalitarian systems only can work when decent people remain silent.

Zeller – Hirzel: I know the film and the book, “Until the Final Hour.” Mrs. Junge was probably a young woman with a nice nature, but was otherwise fairly simple. Hitler preferred to be accompanied by that kind of women. Why did millions follow the Nazis? Well, there was poverty in many parts of the population. In addition, the majority felt the “shame of Versailles,” which culminated in accusations of treason against the politicians of the Weimar Republic. Hitler gave them back, at least emotionally, a sense of national self-respect. I was very angry and disappointed to see my teachers, professors and the rector voluntarily wearing brown shirts (the Nazi dress code) in school and in University; they said they want to give the Nazis “a helping hand.” These were people who previously had served me as role models. I think today, it would be the same teachers and professors describing themselves as Islamophiles, multiculturalists and “helping hands” for Muslim associations as they did at that time for the Nazis. However, I must say that the Classical scholars were the most courageous and distant among the teachers.

Adams: You are now involved in the “Peoples Movement PAX EUROPA” (BPE) in Germany. We understand this to be one of the more important anti-Jihad organizations in Germany. What prompted you to get involved in the anti-Islamist movement?

Zeller – Hirzel: I read many, many books on the subject; especially the books by Mark Gabriel (see “Islam and Terrorism”). So I realized that one must not simply accept these things passively but also do something about it. One must support this cause by necessity.

Adams: Do you see similarities between Islam and Nazism? If so, what are these similarities?

Zeller – Hirzel: The fanaticism, the absolute claim of possessing the only truth and the spiritual simplicity are very similar between Islam and the Nazism.

Adams: Do you view opposing Islamization as the same battle you were fighting when the White Rose fought Nazism?

Zeller – Hirzel: Not quite yet. Critics of the Nazi ideology were then immediately arrested. We have not yet reached that point. But if we do nothing, it will come back to that. Then they might lock up the critics of Islam.

Adams: In your view why is it so difficult to explain the threat of Islamization to the public? What is stopping us from getting our message across to the public? What can we do better?

Zeller – Hirzel: The general indifference to religious matters make it difficult. The public believes we to have to be “fair” to everyone. That is counterproductive. Additionally, there is general prosperity with a relatively high standard of living that makes people lazy. I say: Only education can help. Education can aid.

Adams: What is the best way to approach a person who knows nothing about Islam? How do we build a base of support among people so that we are never in the desperate position that entrapped you, Sophie and the heroes of the White Rose resistance group? Zeller – Hirzel: As I said before: Education!  We need to conduct neighborhood meetings, community and church events. The distress in the population is indeed there, but apparently not big enough. “Hitler is the scourge of God,” once said Robert Scholl, Sophie’s father. But he was then promptly convicted.

Adams: When you and your colleagues of the White Rose were leafleting in Munich and elsewhere, did you believe that the population could be converted to anti-Hitlerism?

Zeller – Hirzel: Yes, we really believed that. We actually thought we could move public opinion. Even if it happened to be in vain, we tried it before history. And yet we were afraid. The very few supporters we had were scared. We were afraid of death sentences, meted out by Freisler’s People’s Court, afraid of his screaming. But screaming is also a weakness.

Adams: We know that the memory of Sophie Scholl, you and your colleagues is held in great esteem across the world by lovers of freedom and justice. How best do we motivate people today to fight against the Islamization of Europe and the West?

Zeller – Hirzel: I think something terrible needs to happen before Germans awaken. 9/11 was too far away from the German people. The churches fail miserably in the task of informing people about Islamic ideology. That can only happen through grassroots activism, education and instruction. Even if in Europe the churches play an increasingly smaller social role, the people ought to be agitating in church institutions, in the parishes and so forth.

Adams: What words of encouragement can you give us to help in our fight against the enemy of freedom, and humanity?

Zeller – Hirzel:  Strive for Unity. It makes resistance powerful and courageous!

Adams: Thank you, Mrs. Zeller- Hirzel, for your thoughts and comments. It is an honor to interview you. You, Sophie, Hans and Kurt and all of your colleagues are heroes to us and to all who love life and liberty and oppose barbarism, totalitarianism, and hatred.
